Our Story

Raj Seelam — the founder

behind the movement

I’m Raj Seelam. Long before “clean eating” became a trend, I founded and built one of India’s earliest and most trusted organic food journeys through 24 Mantra Organic — and in many ways, the organic movement that followed. My life has been shaped by soil, farmers, sourcing, and the hard decisions that determine whether food stays honest at scale.

Over the years, I’ve come to see how food systems are shaped — by every day decisions around sourcing, pricing, and pace. This has reinforced values I’ve always held close: respect for the farmer, care for the soil, minimal processing, and growth that stays aligned with these principles

Honest food is the need

What families really want is simple: food they can trust without second-guessing. When honesty becomes optional, health becomes fragile in quiet ways. Purity Prayag exists to make honest food feel normal again — not rare, not premium, not confusing — but dependable, everyday food that fits naturally into real kitchens and routines.

Why the movement must continue

India is changing. Families are changing. One home today holds multiple life stages — children, working adults, ageing parents, health conditions, budgets, and rising awareness. Food choices are no longer casual; people check, compare, and think carefully.
I don’t believe families should have to become experts to eat well. The honest-food movement must now serve the everyday Indian kitchen — reliably, calmly, without drama without confusion about labels

Everyday staples and special foods alike — pure essentials families trust, bringing honest nourishment daily to every home.

A fairness brand by design

Fairness has always guided how I think about food. It means staying balanced — between the farmer who grows it, the family that eats it, and the earth that sustains both. Purity Prayag reflects this belief in how we source, price, and grow.

Sustainability that is practical, not performative

Our principles are simple: soil before speed, routine before trends, restraint before scale. We grow steadily. No product enters because it is fashionable. It enters because it solves a real kitchen need without quietly lowering standards.
Purity Prayag is our way of ensuring that honesty holds — and that the movement continues beyond one person, through systems, choices, and everyday food across Indian homes.
